Music Exam Digital Assessment News Update (22 June, 2020) In response to the situation created by COVID-19, Trinity has developed a series of interim digital solutions for some of our exams. Following the recent launch of Ofqual’s Extraordinary Regulatory Framework, which addresses the current situation in which candidates are unable to complete live assessments, we now have a new assessment alternative for Music exams, this provides an extra option for candidates. This includes all grades including Rock & Pop exams, from Initial to Grade 8, and performance diplomas (excluding FTCL) and will allow you to gain a fully regulated grade or diploma qualification. All candidates wishing to enter for Music assessments will need to submit a video recording of their work in one take. Candidates achieving Grades 6-8 will be eligible for UCAS points as usual. Trinity will calculate your overall examination result, based on the marks given for your pieces. You will then be awarded your regulated qualification.
